TO: All members of the Coronado Heights Association:
This is a reminder and update: The Annual General Meeting of the Coronado Heights Association membership will be next Wednesday, March 15, at 6:30 at the Cable Street Fire Station. The updated agenda for the meeting is attached, along with some additional information about topics to be discussed and voted on. If you did not receive the original meeting packet in the mail three weeks ago or you would like a replacement copy, please contact the Association’s Secretary, Harry Johnsen, at 4911 Columbus, phone: 671-0828, or email harryjohnsen@comcast.net .
NEW MAILING ADDRESS: Effective immediately the official permanent mailing address for the Association is P.O. Box 31424, Bellingham, WA 98228. Having a permanent mailing address will avoid having to change addresses annually when a new Secretary or Treasurer is elected.
NEW EMAIL ADDRESS: We now have an email address for the Association itself, which will replace use of the elected officers’ individual accounts that were used during the first year of the Association’s existence: CoronadoHeightsAssoc@gmail.com
Agenda Additions. Members have asked that two additional items be added to the meeting agenda: insurance coverage discussion, and safety fencing for the drainage easement between Lewis and Columbus and for the pathway adjacent to the drainage detention pond. In addition, the Financial Review Committee will present its report, a copy of which is attached. The membership will also be asked whether it wants the 2017 financial review to be conducted by this Committee or whether an outside CPA firm should be hired for that task. If total assessments for the year exceed $50,000 a CPA audit is required unless the membership waives that requirement by a two thirds majority vote at the annual meeting.
