1. Q -How do I view the Coronado Heights Assoc.(CHA) LEGAL, FINANCIALS or MEETING MINUTES? When I click the MENU it says it’s protected?
A – The CHA LEGAL, FINANCIALS and MEETING MINUTES are viewable by CHA Members only. If you do not know or can’t recall the password please send email for the password to view password protected content: request_password <at> coronadoh-hoa.org
The request will be sent directly to the Secretary of the CHA for review. For security purposes, please include your full name as recorded with Whatcom County(Property Tax Statement) along with the recorded street address(optional Property ID). Then enter the password and follow the instructions/links. Until further notice, the password is the same for LEGAL, FINANCIALS and MEETING MINUTES.

2. Q – How can I print out or download LEGAL, FINANCIAL or MEETING MINUTES documents to my computer or device like a smartphone or tablet?
A – After the link is clicked for the PDF file, the file should display in a new browser tab automatically invoking a .pdf viewing program like Adobe Reader. Mouse over the document and at the top of the page to the far right; you should see two icons. Click the downward arrow to download the file to your computer(after selecting a location folder to store the file making note to find the file later) or device, or the printer icon to print out the document.

3. Q – What about the SECURITY ISSUES of a VIRUS/MALWARE by OPENING a PDF etc. file in my browser?
A – If you are concerned about a possible virus, click the DOWNLOAD FILE icon under the linked FILE(in red), download the file WITHOUT OPENING. It will be downloaded to your browser’s designated DOWNLOAD FOLDER on your computer/device. Locate the file then, (in WINDOWS) right-click the file and SCAN it with your available virus/malware scanning program (like free MALWAREBYES) before opening it. If you are using an APPLE COMPUTER you will need you use the CHROME BROWSER FOR MAC to be able to DOWNLOAD the file this way.

4. Q – How can I SEARCH for content by a KEYWORD?
A – There are two ways. On the left Menu Bar you’ll see a SEARCH BY KEYWORD. Just enter a keyword and click the icon to the right and all the content containing that keyword will be displayed in the MAIN PAGE to the right which can then be selected for viewing.
Additionally at the left Menu Bar you will see SEARCH BY CATEGORY. It is a very simple yet powerful way to search for a specific CATEGORY of documents e.g. FINANCIAL. Click the pulldown arrow and you’ll see several predefined CATEGORIES that have been assigned to each POST with the total POSTS. All of the POSTS coded with the selected CATEGORY will then be displayed in the MAIN PAGE to the right which can then be selected for viewing. For example pull-down to and left-click LEGAL and a list of LEGAL related documents will appear in the MAIN PAGE to the right.

5. Q – Is this web-site SECURE from VIRUS and MALWARE?
A – While no web-site can be 100% guaranteed to be free of VIRUS/MALWARE, meticulous precaution has been taken to ensure that the web-site is not infested at the server level. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that their VIRUS/MALWARE is runing with REAL-TIME PROTECTION turned on, that the VIRUS/MALWARE DEFINITIONS and OPERATING SYSTEM (e.g. WINDOWS) Security Updates are all current. As discussed in #3 above, PDF documents etc. can be scanned for VIRUS/MALWARE before opening.
